Who said so? I run Debian GNU/Linux on 500 Mhz, 128 MB
RAM. Runs extremely well.
Do you run KDE/GNOME or a lighter WM like IceWM?
But what has debian to do with this? Its newer KDE and gnome that is
getting heavier and debian only packages what it gets, isn't it?
I run sarge (sid) with gnome on 256M athlon machine and is pretty
fine. Ya, of course using IceWM is a good alternative for lower RAM.
