[Ilugc] Help on gnus config

I tried the configuration in the above site, but when I start gnus I
get the following error
nntp (news) open error: ''. Continue? (y or n)
uh? doesn't look to me as if the problem is with the mail part of it.
is some other news server a part of your primary or secondary select
methods?
