Hi,

You don't have to disable firewall in Linux. Just
add the incoming port number to the firewall
to allow incoming connections to the KBittorrent.

You also have to set up port forwarding in your
CPE/router to accept incoming connections.
Check this link for configuring port forwarding
in your router/CPE.

Friends.

In suse 10, I got a tool called KBittorrent.
It is not working.

I have BSNL 900+ plan connection.
Got a router and connect 3 machines via NAT.

My friend told in windows the bit torrent clients works
after stopping firewall.

In suse10, i stopped the firewall.
But it is not working.

Is any direct connection to net is needed for Bittorrent?

How to make it work?

Thanks.

dear,
T.Shrinivasan.
