Do linux users really hate Java?

Most linux developers are well versed in C and they love it becoz of its
flexibility and other thinks and "may" hate Java. Linux "users" as in the
i never heard people who using linux says that they hate java. if they
say like that, then they do not know what java means... or what OOP
means or what programming language means...

case are not going to be the real developers. They just use the software. So
they will see the difference by the speed it runs. Java softwares run slow..

have  u tried JDK1.5? its much faster than earlier version of java.
java needs some good hardware to run. if u have the right hardware i.e
RAM, it will run like anything and better than anything. Every
language has hardware requirements. if u fulfill that, every language
will run properly.

!! so what will they prefer. C softwares... It doesn't mean that they hate
Java...
