I guess the major limitation for installing Ubuntu OS on any phone will be
whether its BIOS is open for other OS or not.
Most of the phone manufactures lock the BIOS due to which you wont be able
to install Ubuntu on it.
Only Google Nexus phones are currently available with unlocked BIOS and
hence can be used to install Ubuntu.
