Do you see just the battery icon or the plugged in icon ?
Even after I remove supply, the plugged icon is what I see.
Possibly a bug in your version on gnome-power-manager (the same or similar
bugs are/have been reported for g-p-m on a regular basis). What is the g-p-m
version on your system ? What happens when you restart g-p-m ? I'd suggest
filing a bug against the arch linux g-p-m package.
The g-p-m version on my system is 2.26.3 (same version as the GNOME I
use I guess.. =) )
This is the weird part: When I remove supply and restart g-p-m, it
restarts with the plugged icon! =)
I'll file a bug report.. =)
