Dear friends:
I.F.E.T COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, a member of the NRCFOSS -- Elective
trainging group -- is keen to have a FOSS awarness event on 11th August
2006
(Friday).
If we can find enough volunteers, we can conduct a one-day workshop (basics
-- installation -- a bit of addl exposure to guide them towards FOSS
projects). Would appreciate your responses by Monday morning (at the
latest)
so that we could fix the programme with the college by Monday evening.
Otherwise, I am committed to address the students -- inauguration of their
CSE association -- on 11th Aug. If we do not have the workshop on that day,
I will propose to have it at a later date (based on volunteer
availability).
For these workshops, we will try to have Parthan and Ashwin (or at least
one
of them) to be part of the training team.
