Thanks everyone for the inputs.
I will do some homework (perhaps some PoCs) on Django, RoR, the trio
combination as presented by Mr. Senthil Kumaran and Zope, before I
start commenting on these. I had already been introduced to RoR, but
didn't know about its seriousness.
It is good to note that there are some good alternatives to J2EE and
.NET in the Open Market.
May be I am not fully right, but, I do find J2EE offering better
environment for the enterprise applications than the others. This may
be due to the wide spread patronage of the architecture. I am saying
this purely on the initial impressions that I got from the homepages.
