i agree with ramkumar.. i started using computers with windows (From windows
3.1 till XP).. when i thought of shifting to linux, i came across various
difficulties. When i think me as a normal user, i would have decided to not
use linux since i need to learn more new concepts.. But, as a developer, i
decided to learn and adapt and facinated by the GNU, GPL principles. and
eventually skipped Windows..
It took more time for me to shift from windows to Linux. for a novice user,
switching to linux takes some more time. But, I recently heard about my
friends who started using computers with GNU/Linux loaded.. impossible..
they dont like to work in windows.. and can easily differentiate the powers
of linux over windows..
So, the only way to stop comments that Linux is difficult is to "ask the
people who not even touched the computer to start working on linux".. like
grandpa and grandma..
More than me, here there will be many guys who started working on computers
with GNU/Linux.. Ur opinions will be better than me..
