I feel,  drupal has a relatively flexible architecture than wordpress.
Drupal has an extensive and dynamic templating system, than wordpress.

The plugin system of wordpress is different from the module feature of
drupal.  There each module has its own URL structure, whereas, in wordpress,
the plugin is always automatically included.

Performance wise, wordpress serves better.
