Hi,
thx for the info.

My ethernet card is not supported by drivers provided by debian and I
downloaded the intel driver, via windows (as I have no net connectivity in
Linux because of the driver problem)

I have the 7cds ( debian woody 3.0 r2 including international cd)? Which of
the cds is the source cds?
Maybe I can specify this in /etc/apt/sources.list and then get the source
from the cd.

I need a minimum of 2.4.x kernel for the driver to work.

Thanks,
Sanjay

How do I find out the name and location of the package?

After that how do I Install the package?

I have looked at the manpages, but I am bit confused.

apt-get install kernel-source-2.4.21
