[Ilugc] Debian Newbie problems

But I have  heard Intel NICs perform bad  in GNU/Linux. RedHat detects
Intel   NICs  while   installing  itself,   but  show   problem  while
working. Its a driver issue IAC. Anybody have it working with out much
problems.

I did not have problem with my ethernet card ( Intel Pro 100 VE) in RedHat
9. detected during install and have used it for a couple of months without
problem.
