My apologies to one and all. I think there are too many of
them, so I am not able to enumerate here.
What I am aiming for is a healthy marriage of academia
and industry. The two have differring goals and have to
work with each other instead of one without the other.
Both are required. Without teachers and professors teaching
us stuff, we can never become engineers.
And without engineers doing real world work teachers cannot
test their hypotheses.
And I find too much academic discussions on this list. I
read this here, that there. Few ppl actually talk from
their experience. My humble intention was only that
and nothing else.
I apologize for all the hard feelings. I know I cannot
make up for it, but at least I can try.
And the reason I asked ppl not to waste time on academic
projects is not asking ppl not to do academic projects.
OTOH, take up a real life problem, solve it. Make it an
academic project. Who is stopping you from that?
I never meant to break or hurt anything. I don't believe
in revolutionary approach. Things have to happen slowly
by way of evolution.
