[Ilugc] Anyone knows Skype for Ubuntu ?

The Skype download page does not list Ubuntu 8.10.

I belive it is still in the repository. you can try apt-get or synaptic to
install it. I have not validated this in ubuntu, but its there in my mint,
which is based out of ubuntu.

skype is working for me using 10.10. installed via apt-get
