We (AU) do have an elective on .NET/C# (as per the request of M$ and
in return some collboration work... ) added last year I think. Nobody
in our class (7th sem) took the elective, probably I guess it will be
taken for 8th sem -- whatever the elective may, it is sure to be taken
only if the course is handled by any lenient teacher who always asks
straightforward questions from class-notes/books. Worse that
important course like graph theory was finally offered only in 7th
semester as definite elective (after 3 rejects by the students).
The system needs to change, otherwise education in India is judged to
be nonsensical.
