[PCB_FORUM] library management v14.2/v15.1

The recent thread talked about .brd file incompatibility, but what about
footprints?  So far I have been afraid to edit footprints in 15.1 for fear
they would not be backwards compatible.  I have already determined that
v14.2 footprints work just fine in v15.1 .brd files.  For those of you
running multiple versions, do you have a library method?
