[PCB_FORUM] Re: library management v14.2/v15.1

Then I recommend that you maintain your library for the lowest version.
I had a designer create a footprint for me thinking it would help out
but 
he was using 15.2 and our library is still at 14.2. I could not even do
a clip
and import sub drawing into our 14.2 library without loosing some
things.
Finally decided that it was quicker to build it in 14.2 than to try to
convert
backwards. Since the library works fine for anyone using 15.x, the only
concern
we have is not having Cadence support after the end of the year.

I should have explained that I have to run multiple versions.  I am a
service bureau and some of my customers are in v14.2, others v15.1.
