Samuel,
orcad capture is easier to use, generally speaking, and this is the main problem:
I work with guies using concept: NO problem because they have to be rigorous
I work with guies usint capture and i have NEVER seen a schematic which can be pass to allegro at the first shot.

According to me, capture is a "small" soft compare to concept and you can do everything (and the worse!) to easely so users just "daw" schematic instead of builinding a database.
Now, it is possible to do good job with capture but i think it requires more personnal rigor than concept to obtain the same service.

If capture and orcad are compared to OS, i should say:
Capture is win98se
Concept is winxppro or suse

Hello group,

We are using project manager, concept 15.51-s010 and allegro 15.51 s035.

We’ll  perhaps change concept for capture (orcad).

I don’t know capture so i would like to know basicaly what are the advantages of each tool.

My 2nd question is for the ddr2.We are spending a lot of time adapting the length and I was wondering if the cadence autorouter is abable to route and adapt in length traces and if it is doing decent job?

Thank you

Samuel
