Ideally, you want the pad on your board to match the pad on the device, then
you will have a straight column of solder. Not all vendors supply this
information in their data sheets, TI has a lot of good info on their site
with respect to this.

Group: I have a data sheet that says the solderballs are .019 nominal. Is
there a rule of thumb for what pads size I should use?
