Hi Moris,
Thank you for the reply. Is this format something I can back
annotate into OrCAD? The format is different than what I am use
to.
Also does this method work for function swaps between two different
connectors? I wasn't able to back annotate the swaps made between two
different connector the way I did in the past either.
I will
be trying to figure things out. If you have any solutions please let
me know. I appreaciate your help.
Thank you,
Seiji

I use the [i] button and select Comps from the palette,
and select the BGA I want to output the swap list.
I do it once for the
old and once for the new and import them to the excel to form a PIN# | OLD
| NEW style worksheet. It takes only 2-3 minutes , fast and
efficient.
regards,
Moris

Hi All,
I am back again with more questions.
We have a little program that gives us pin swap list
most/some of the time no problem by comparing board before and after
pinswap. Only problem is it's most/some of the time only and we have to do
lots of fiddling to get the data to output. Is there a skill or some sort
of report that Allegro outputs that gives us the pin/function swap list?
Thank you in advance for all the help.
