Hi all,
So what format do I use. I used this format before.
CHANGEPIN FPGA1
A1 A8
But I can't figure out the format for two different component since
there is two different reference designator. When I try it with both
of the reference designator it claimed to have too many columns. If
anyone have any answers please let me know. Thank you in advance for
your advise.

Seiji,
if you use
orcad capture and allegro, you can backannotate directly in capture.
It
works fine.
In capture, select your dsn, Tools->
Backannotate

Hi Moris,
Thank you for the reply. Is this format something I can back
annotate into OrCAD? The format is different than what I am use
to.
Also does this method work for function swaps between two different
connectors? I wasn't able to back annotate the swaps made between two
different connector the way I did in the past either.
I will
be trying to figure things out. If you have any solutions please let
me know. I appreaciate your help.
Thank you,
Seiji

I use the [i] button and select Comps from the
palette, and select the BGA I want to output the swap list.
I do it once
for the old and once for the new and import them to the excel to form a
PIN# | OLD | NEW style worksheet. It takes only 2-3 minutes , fast and
efficient.

Moris

We have a little program that gives us pin swap list

have to do lots of fiddling to get the data to output. Is there a
skill or some sort of report that Allegro outputs that gives us the
pin/function swap list?

Thank you in advance for all the help.
