But it would be nice to be able to split a table in the same way that you
can split a chapter. section or list, where you can just insert a blank
paragraph and then 'Remove structure'.  In the context of a table, the
equivalent would be a blank row, but with a single row selected, 'Remove
structure' is disabled.

I have many times tried to do that, and then rediscovered that it isn't
possible :-(
