There is the added problem of the postal strike. Those of us dependent on the post (ie very nearly all of us!) might be finding problems and need the direct interface with customers "here are the goods - thanks for the money" that's possible at a show. We were lucky in getting issue 285 (October) out a couple of days before the strike started - so readers have a good reminder/advertisement for the show. We have worked flat out to get issue 286 (November) ready in time for the show so that visitors can collect their copy direct. So far we are on track (proofs to check!). The message has to be: turn up on 20th October. I know the exhibitors are working flat-out to ensure that there is plenty of value added for those that can get there. -- John Cartmell john@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 0845 006 8822 or 0161 969 9820 Qercus magazine FAX +44 (0)8700-519-527 www.finnybank.com Qercus - the best guide to RISC OS computing ------------------------------------------------------------ To change, suspend or cancel your subscription go to //www.freelists.org/list/icon-users ------------------------------------------------------------
