Hi all, There may be a very logical explanation for what happens in my description below but it's been bugging me for a while! When making adjustments to tables I find if I'm not careful Easiwriter behaves in a strange way. Try the following: 1. Open a new Easiwriter document 2. Start a table by selecting table icon 3. Make it two columns wide by one row deep at least (e.g. type "one" press <tab> and "two and three and four") 4. Select the table by clicking menu over the left of the two boxes on the top right of the screen which usually read "Text Selection" and "Paragraph Style" and choose "Table" 5. The two boxes now read "Table" and "Table Style" 6. Select-click on "Table Style" (the right hand box) and, in the dialogue box which ensues, deselect "automatic column widths" 7. Adjust click Table Style and, ***importantly***, click "update" to save the changes. 8. Now select-click on Table Style again. Select "Automatic column widths". Deselect it again. 9. Click OK. ... the table shrinks to a narrow column in the centre and the right column disappears. And it is impossible to adjust the table columns without EasiWriter doing weird things e.g. when you drag the right marker icon ] it bounces back. I find I have to delete the whole table and build it again from scratch. You could of course be exceedingly careful when adjusting tables, going back to a previously saved version of the document when the table goes belly up. But that's rather inconvenient. EasiWriter 9.12 on R-Pi RISC OS 5.21 Any thoughts? thanks Chris.
