[icon-discuss] playing mp3 files

I recently attempted to play mp3 files from the music folder.
the unit indicates that music player is being activated but immediately goes
back to the file I am attempting to play with no response from the player.
when i copy the same song to the sd card the player functions properly. this
happens with any mp3 file I attempt to play. I would appreciate help.
also how much longer will it be before updates are issued? .
