Hi, Beth,

It's the OS all right! After checking for malware, I ran my book scanning
software. I got
a few pages into that and things locked up. I figured I might as well
reformat the hard drive, but
Windows couldn't even find the hard drive? How's that?

It's a new drive, and I doubt there's anything wr;d with it. I don't have
any diagnostics or
I'd have this figured out.
