The phono jacks are also called RCA plugs. This is assuming you have a tape deck that would be part of a home stereo system. You may need an attenuated cord if the source signal is too strong, but I'd start with a regular cord. Radio Shack, "Circuit City, or other stores that sell a range of stereo equipment should have the cords. --- -----Original Message----- From: icon-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:icon-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of stacey robinson Sent: Monday, September 03, 2007 2:46 PM To: icon-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [icon-discuss] Re: Recordings Has anyone tried recording a tape onto the icon or Braille plus? I would like to do this but am not sure what sort of patch cord to buy. Stacey and GEB dog Chesley staceyr75@xxxxxxxxxxxxx----- Original Message ----- From: "kaye zimpher" <kayezimpher@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

It is not feedback persay but just the noise around the recorder. I would think that if the icon was plugged in to the stereo from which I was recording I would not be able to pick up outside noise. I have tried setting the icon on internal and external mike and neither ones work for this.----- Original Message ----- From: tré strother

This has actually happened to me quite a number of times. I've been recording and all of a sudden, I'm back at the applications menu, no warning, and it is at this point that the recording is cut off. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be?
