you could use an sd card and transfer the files but I see the point because 
you need audibble manager.  You could use windows on the Mac?

Hello all,
On the Mac, Audible and iTunes work real well together. In fact,
Audible andMac OS X 5.3  fit together in many ways much better than
the Windows Audible Manager. Unfortunately, there is no way to get
disk drive to work on the Mac.
I am not going to purchase a Windows machine just to run Audible.
So, will it ever be possible to use Disk mode on the Mac?
If not...
