The process makes sense, but the funny thing is my units don't bridge with my gateway computer, they only bridge with my Dell computer. I don't know what would cause this, but I have had this problem since I got my unit running software version 1.0.2.

I am running XP and I have the same problem with the bridge
connection. I think something should be done to made this easier. If
us computer tech are having problems then something is wrong. It
should be easy enough for anyone to do it.

Thanks,

Hello folks:

At the risk of sounding like a broken down record player with too many skips and electrical indigestion, I have a couple of questions and observations.

Firstly, in the music player, is it possible to do a multiple select with the zero key plus the select key in order to move multiple items to a playlist? There, that's the most repetitive question.

Secondly, I am curious to know if anyone has had as much trouble as I have in trying to establish a USB connection with a computer using Windows Vista? For one, I personally think the USB driver installation part of the CD is about as reliable as a presidential candidate having an honest desire to help the country and then acting upon it; in other words, pretty un-bloody reliable. I have never once after trying to install the drivers found that my "found new hardware" wizard has recognized the Icon, and whenever I try and bridge the connection in my network settings, the only thing I've been able to do is lose my connection to the internet.

On a third note, has anyone found that when hooking their device to a stereo whilst charging, you begin to get a low humming noise through your stereo speakers the more the unit charges? Just curious.

Oh, and seeing as no one had ever probably conceived of a device like the Braille Plus in this particular year, why in the name of all that is logical in the world, not that that's very much, would the date reflect back to 1969 when the clock loses the current time, which also happens with alarming regularity?

Despite my whining and complaining like a Yankees fan whenever the team is more than half a game out of first place (just kidding, Yankee fans), I really do love the Braille Plus and look forward to many more improvements in the future.

Hope everyone reading this is doing well.

Scott
