I'll correct my previous statement to the following:

I agree and would like to make model specific output parameters illegal when they are not accompanied with a machine parse able spec for *post-processing*. Otherwise there is no need to output Model specific parameters, since from the specification point of view the model maker's intentions for these parameters can only be guessed at.

A post-processing specification for model specific parameters a necessity for completeness. With out it parameters are output into a void.
