Review of ARs:

  - Just got a slide set
  - Still need to determine what can be shared

- Mike drop Outlook event for these meetings
  - Done

- Todd update summit presentation based on feedback

New Discussion:

Status of draft AMI BIRD:
- Todd declared that the BIRD is good enough to prove concept.
- Arpad brought up timetables:
  - There will be no meeting next week.
  - Arpad is concerned about the BIRD timetable
  - People should review the BIRD and give feedback before next meeting.
- Todd felt that we may not need regular ibis-atm meetings:
  - We need to have proof of concept before going to IBIS open forum.
  - There may be a lot of discussion within that larger group, and it
will go smoother if we can prove the concept.
  - We would go to the open forum probably in middle of September.
  - A problem is that this coincides with the Asian summit.
- Arpad asked if the proof of concept will be a real model:
  - What will it look like?
  - Todd asked which vendor can provide a model without an NDA?
  - Hemant said we need to publish a correlatable reference model.
    - It should be an open source model, that works on multiple platforms.
    - It would be very simple on the inside, but will exercise the API.
  - Walter felt that we need both proposals.
- Walter said that the BIRD draft document should be under revision control.
  - Arpad pointed out that there is a BIRD revision numbering system.
    - But we can't get a BIRD number until we go to open forum
  - The need here is to have revision control before it becomes a formal BIRD.
- Bob asked if Rx_clock_PDF can be input-only:
  - Can Rx_Sensitivity be both Info and InOut?
  - Walter said that only Executable allows Multiple use.
  - Walter suggested that this level of detail needs to be resolved by email.

- We took a roll call vote:
  - Is the AMI BIRD proposal ready to move forward into testing?
  - One vote per company:
    - Arpad Muranyi, Intel Corp. Yes
    - Bob Ross, Teraspeed Consulting Group Yes
    - Hemant Shah, Cadence Design Systems Yes
    - John Angulo, Mentor Graphics Yes
    - Mike LaBonte, Cisco Systems Yes
    - Radek Biernacki, Agilent (EESof) Yes
    - Randy Wolff, Micron Technology Yes
    - Todd Westerhoff, SiSoft Yes
  - The vote passed

AR: Hemant will publish an open source reference model by Jul 17

AMI BIRD draft document format:
- The IBIS committee normally accepts BIRDs in plain TXT format.
- The document will be in DOC format for now.
- Todd suggested that materials from recent summit presentations could be
  integrated into the document.
- Bob said we should not go too far with this until we know what the IBIS
  committee will accept.
- Todd said it can be converted to TXT easily.
- Walter said that pictures are extremely useful though.

AR: Ambrish include page numbers in AMI BIRD footer and revision table

When will our next meeting be?
- Walter suggested that the group could still meet, but we should start
  talking about our next project.
- Todd suggested we should evaluate Jul 9 whether to have a Jul 10 meeting.
- Arpad may be travelling on the 10th

Next meeting: 10 July 2007 12:00pm PT
