*Nominations are being called for the following positions on the IASL Board*
· Vice-President (Association Operations)
· Treasurer
· Regional Director (Asia)
· Regional Director (International Schools)
*Criteria for nominees:*
- Have an interest in promoting the goals and objectives of IASL;
- Be able to fulfill the role and responsibilities for the position
under consideration as outlined in the Procedures & Guidelines (Handbook of
Organization);
- Be a member of IASL for at least two years with membership fees
current at time of nomination (current student or retiree members not
eligible);
- Demonstrate effective leadership in local or national associations or
institutions in his/her country;
- Willingness to attend IASL conferences and related meetings;
- Understand that individuals must pay their own expenses to conferences
and/or related meetings; and
- Willing to supply a biographical sketch and position statement which
may be used for information purposes to the membership during the election
process.
Additionally, the nominator's and the seconder's membership fees must be
current.
Think about the people you might like to nominate for these positions and
think about nominating yourself. The nominees for the Director positions
should be resident in the region to be represented, and should understand
that the representation is for the entire region, irrespective of national
boundaries. All positions are for three years, 2017-2020. To learn more
