[huskerlug] compiling kernel

Hi,
As I've mentioned before I'm messing around with RH 7.2, its working kinda
fine. But I've installed it with gui. Now I want to try it from bottom,
mean going with hand work (or whatever u say for that) compiling it
myself. Where can I find details on how to do that.
