VARCOM report, Mike! There's only one other Piedmont record away from
Kerr, and that was at Lake Anna in 2004. Has anyone seen the bird at Kerr
these last few days?

with the Common Loon. It was not in view when I left. A scope is

Sandy River Reservoir is east of Farmville off US 460. The main boat ramp
/ parking area is off Monroe Church Road (SR 640), which turns south off US
460. The loons were last seen from a small parking area at the end of SR
605 (Gates-Bass Road), which turns off Green Bay Road (SR 696).
