I'm quite sure that Be Inc. has emphasized on various occasions that
it's "the BeOS". I can't come up with an official document on that
right now. All I could find is the foreword of JLG for the BeOS Bible
at http://www.birdhouse.org/beos/bible/about.html, in which it's always
"the BeOS".
