Last I heard, things were pointing towards FreeType, which IMHO is a
perfect choice :)

In the new build system (to be released start of next week) unit
testing as described by the app_server team has been integrated. Feel
free to take a look at cppunit and write some tests, the code will be
easily integrated into the build sys.

Different teams have different timeframes :) Seriously, things should
start to get more "open" soon (as in project plans, timeframes, etc).
>5 - What about all the applications developed by Be?

We cannot distribute them I guess, but users can download and use them
:) Standard PE apps should be working fine. Also, lots of these
applications could be replaced with improved versions which are already
available from BeBits & co.

For R1, I guess we'll stick to Be's BeIDE :)
