Could change the threat to some other title, but maybe being involved with
Google SOC is a back door to such activities already. Google does sell user
data to the US and other high priced entities... As well, they work with dark
operations within our own government, and admit it publicly. And people still
line up to use their search and ad services world wide in droves. Why is it
that Haiku is participating in such activities, supported in part with tools
like SOC, I have no idea!

Google's interest is a bunch of BeOS and Be Inc developers either work/ed at or
influenced a bunch of the hacks at Google Inc. The real issue to me is when is
BeOS/Haiku going to be made into a viable operating system on a light weight
lappy at a cost of less than 500 bucks? At this rate it could be decades, and
I wish it was 5 years ago. Needs to be pushed out with mega talent to be used
by us waiting.

Hmmm, maybe get another computer. I think 2007 was the first GSoC for
Haiku, which would make this our fifth participation.
In any case, thanks everyone who has, is and will be dedicating his
time to make it happen!

I hope HAIKU will be beyond beta before MacOS == appstore and

apps on the big big brother cloud where governments decide computers must be
