using HaikuDepot.
IIRC copy doesn't mount the package. You need Move it.
In fact, this is exactly what I was doing. I was dragging the package back and
forth
between a temp directory and ~/config/packages. If I wasn't online (I don't
bother
bringing up WiFi if I'm working locally) a couple of error notifications would
pop up
when I installed; still seemed to get installed, though. HaikuDepot wasn't
(supposed
to be) involved at all..
