[haiku-development] PM Read-only insanity?

I was playing with some classic tracker modules in the most recent PM
image and went to install one...
cp Lava-L /boot/system/add-ons/Tracker
cp: cannot create regular file `/boot/system/add-ons/Tracker/Lava-L':
Read-only file system.
Ok... fair enough. I shouldn't put it there...
mkdir /boot/common/add-ons/Tracker
mkdir: cannot create directory `/boot/common/add-ons/Tracker': Read-only
file system.
OK.... That isn't right... lets try home..
mkdir ~/config/add-ons
mkdir: cannot create directory `/boot/home/config/add-ons': Read-only
file system

Thoughts?
