Would I be strictly on my own finding those stumbling blocks using grep and
runs with jam, or would somebody more intimately familiar with appropriate
haiku and build trees be able to guide me where to look, narrow the search?
I somehow think finding all the stumbling blocks on my own would have low
probability of success.
Besides, some of those stumbling blocks might come into play only part of
the time, depending on other options.
I'm afraid its a mix of both. You are probably alone in finding the stumbling
blocks. But you are not alone in trying to find solutions for them. If you
post with specific problems that you need to solve in the build system in
order to add support for NetBSD, I am almost sure people familiar with the
subject matter will try to help you out here and on Trac.
