Yes: the disk is available for mount, outside the Installer.
In anyway i have found that to see these disk under Installer i have to:
shutdown the computer, remove the usb stick or the SD card, turn on the
computer, boot again to Haiku and then reinsert the usb stick/SD card. But
this doesn't always work. And as i've said, this issue is not present in
Haiku Alpha 4.1
