FWIW, I tried a couple of experiments:

scheduling_recorder sched.rec2 echo hello
}}}
generated a file that DebugAnalyzer had no trouble with (though I'm not
sure I understand all it was displaying (:-/)
Recording StyledEdit by itself without the large file crashed in the same
way as before, as did something like DeskCalc.
