Oh, I didn't realize that this was intended.

I don't know.
My observation is that the patch attached to this ticket does not have the
clipping problem:
[[Image(Preview-patch.png)]]
With r37833 the text seems to be at the right position but the clipping is
wrong:
[[Image(Preview-r37833.png)]]
And the clipping has changed when zoomed in:
[[Image(PreviewZoomedIn-r37833.png)]]
