 Definitely. The proper way would be to update the FreeBSD vendor branch
 version, tag it with 8.0 release if you take the sources from there, and
 then copy the branch version into trunk, applying Haiku specific changes
 if there are any (which you could examine by diffing the vendor branch and
 the trunk versions).
