I am a self-driving car guy. I control access and monitor
progress
on my github. Anyone else on the project can hold me responsible
for access issues. If it was dumped into the commons, the team
wouldn't have the flexibility to make the sharp deadlines.
I do not know what you mean by "dumped into the commons".
Maintained like the ATM machine or the Vending Machine or the piles of
things in boxes we lost track of.
I still don't understand what you mean. Why would the code be useless of there
was ownership by the group. And yes, I mean active ownership, not just a box
you throw here and don't let anyone touch like the ATM.
