Bob,
Thanks for the feedback. I will schedule some training sessions. It seems
that when I sit down and use it all as well, but that experience is not
reproducible for others.

Ryan,
I was able to get a part sliced with Cura 15.04.6, but the print did not
go well. The result was clumpy and it seemed there was excess vibration of
the extruder assembly.

Bob,
I have not ventured into the newer versions of Cura. I'd be curious if you
were able to set up a manual profile under the older version of Cura.
I will try to look at next time I'm back at the computer.

Ryan,
I can’t get the Cura profile on the wiki to work in Cura 2.1.3 on Mac
OS. Should I be using a different version of Cura?
It says “Unable to slice. Please check your setting values for errors.”
I can’t figure out which setting is causing this.

All,
I stopped down to use the laser cutter today. While I was there, I
adjusted the bed height by turning the three screws on the bed. I did a
minor “home offset” as well which brings it to the following dimensions if
you are going to use your favorite slicing engine:
Width: 215 mm
Length: 215 mm
Height: 94.9 mm
There is a cura profile on the wiki: http://www.hackpittsburg

I plan to ultimately move the z endstop to the bottom as opposed to
having it at the top.
