There was a discussion about this not too long ago. The concesnes seemed
to be no. There is #hackpgh on freenode but it's owned by a former
member. I sometimes sit in #hackpittsburgh for no particular reason, but
it's not "official".

I was thinking that, although at the moment I can't do the in-shop
programming lab, I could certainly hang out on an IRC channel and
answer programming questions while hacking on other stuff.
