Hello all,
I have been going through some of the electrical component inventory that
we have and sorting it(very soothing). I just want to give ya'll an idea
of some of the awesome stuff that's there for the using. It's a lot. Like
HUGE metric tons worth of stuff. So if you need parts for projects please
take a look through some of the draws and boxes of components or ask me
where something might be. That's what they are there for. For you to make
your projects awesome. All those components are getting pretty lonely
sitting in all those boxes. USE THEM PLEASE!!!
Here's some of the stuff I found today that might be useful to people:
555 timers like 100 of them and some 556 dual timer variety.new.
Voltage regulators all varieties, adjustable, 3.3v, 5v, 12v, etc,
Resistors, millions of resistors, MILLIONS I TELL YOU!! All brand spanking
Capacitors, millions of those too. Under the shelf by to the right of thesoldering station there is a whole big box with jars full of ceramic caps
Logic IC's, AND, OR, NOR, inverter, counters, latches, tons of that kindastuff if you like.
Lots of micro controller chips like PIC16C65 and tons of other variationswith many pins or just a few pins. I also saw a bunch of ATMEL ATMEGA
Vacuum tubes, you know, those things with nothing inside.style if you want to make your project retro vintage steam punk style.
Transistors of all types and sizes and such. A fair amount of the old can
Diodes, including zener, rectifier, bridge rectifier, fast recovery, signal, oh and lots of LEDs too.
Incandescent light bulbs, mostly small and low voltage. Some neon lampsand indicators. Also a bunch of green neon lamps which are kinda cool and
Tons of sockets, plugs, headers, pins, terminal strips, serial port plugs, mitty, audio, and all kinds of stuff like that to make your own custom
Copper clad boards. To the right of the solder station against the whiteboard there is a flat box with huge about 2 foot by 1 foot double sided
Relays, 5 volt, 12 volt, solid state, big ones, small ones, etc.lighted ones.
Switches, lot of switches. Toggle, push button, soft ones, tactile ones,
Pots, no not drugs silly... potentiometers, multi turn, single turn, 10k,20k, trimmer, etc.
Metal and plastic nuts, bolts, and lots of standoffs and hardware.
And lot of other cool stuff for YOUR projects.
