Hi Gary,

Now you've got me confused. Microsoft Exchange Server is a
special mail program which normally runs on a network server
and acts like a kind of postal sorting office for e-mail in
and out of your network. That's what I run here for all our
office e-mail.

Is your 98SE system part of a network, or does it connect to
the Internet via a modem or cable connexion of its own?

I take it you are not using the 98SE machine to send your
list e-mail, as that appears to be coming from Outlook
Express and not Outlook.

George.

Hi George,

The only exchange server I have is the one from windows
messaging. It seems that I un-installed outlook and
re-installed it (don't ask me why) this is when I started
getting the error message. When I try to set up the
ms-exchange server under mail in control panel I don't know
what information to put in the name field. I hope this
information is of some help thanks,
