Hi All, When I was in the infants school our food was brought in from the main
kitchen and came in big tubs. Four days a week the food was bloody unfit for
pig swill never mind us kids. figs, pruns, stewed apple and so on. Meat, they
use to take all the meat out and give us the fat. We were forced fed if you
wouldn't eat it. My best meal was Fridays. Mash, mushy peas and fish with
parsley sauce followed by chocolate cake and custard.
If they did what they did in those days now they would be in court for asult.
